(Eerie Von grew up in Lodi, NJ and graduated from Lodi High School in 1982 with Steve Zing and Doyle of The Misfits. Before joining Samhain, Eerie played drums for the Lodi band Rosemary's Babies. Uneasy Listening is an album release in 1999; primarily an instrumental album, it was Eerie Von's first recording after leaving Danzig in 1995. The album features a variety of instruments, including harpsichord, piano, and sampled sounds. The vocals on "Half a Gurl (Is Better than None)" are by Mike Morance).

Demdike Stare was formed in by Sean Canty and Miles Whittaker, both of whom were already well-established in Manchester's music scene. Whittaker is also known for his work in Pendle Coven and under his solo projects, MLZ, Daughter of the Industrial Revolution, Suum Cuique, and Miles. Canty is a respected DJ and also known for his involvement with Finders Keepers, an archival label based in Manchester and London. Their mixtapes and albums incorporate a wide variety of influence from Jazz to Library Music, and Industrial. they have steadily shifted their sound and setup throughout the span of the project).

Formed in 1995 by Greg Forschler, Fear of Dolls has actively performed live in the Seattle area, while the music and band members have constantly shifted and evolved. The future, just like the past and present, are uncertain at best. Currently fronted by Greg and Bonni, shows are a rare surprise, and recordings will continue to surface from time to time).

(Felix Kubin (born 1969), one half of the Hamburg based futuristic noise band Klangkrieg, lives and works against the rest of the world. His activities comprise Sci-Fi Pop/Noise/animation films/radio plays/experimental broadcasting. As the messenger of exploding lungs he started his label "Gagarin Records" in 1998 and rules the "syndicate of counter-noise" since 9.9.1999.

His experiences both in electroacoustic music and strange electronic pop (that he followed already in the early 80ies with his notorious band Die Egozentrischen 2 — released as "Der Aufstand Der Chemiker" on "Was Soll Das? Schallplatten" and "the Tetchy Teenage Tapes of Felix Kubin" on SKIPP and A-Musik) induced him to launch a vinyl record label for all kinds of Dada-electronics on the edge of pop and experimental music).

(Saigon Super Sound is the story of a musical era that was almost lost. The selection of tracks is limited to the period between 1965 and 1975, the so-called “Golden Era” in the South of Vietnam, where – under difficult circumstances – a lively pop culture had developed.

The music of Vietnam in the sixties was shaped by three currents: Nhạc đỏ (“red music” or communist revolutionary music) had developed around the beginning of the 20th century in opposition to the French colonization of Indochina. It usually promoted independence, socialism and anti-capitalism in its lyrics and was the dominant genre in the communist North. These were mostly heroic songs celebrating the men and women who left their families to bravely fight against the French and, soon enough, also the US Army.

This collection focuses on the South, where under “imported” western influence a new kind of pop and rock music had developed: Nhạc Vàng (“yellow music” or “golden music”), Nhạc Trẻ (“young music”). Nhạc Vàng are poetic, often sentimental and sad love songs (Tình Khúc) as well as simple, easily accessible compositions which praised the beauty of the motherland).

(Founded in 1980, The Legendary Pink Dots exist in the fields of experimental and psychedelic music. The band is fronted by Edward Ka-Spel, who doubles as singer and chief lyric writer. Phil Knight (The Silverman), Erik Drost, and Raymond Steeg make up the current lineup of the band. The sound is often a conglomerate of electronics, saxophones, guitars, drums, and Ka-Spel's distinctive voice and lyrical invention. Bardo Pond's music is often classified as space rock, acid rock, post-rock, shoegazing, noise or psychedelic rock.
