they are the general name for seven different bands, each representing a
different aspect of Spruance's musical and philosophical interests. The
seven bands are The Electromagnetic Azoth, UR, Ishraqiyun,
Traditionalists, Holy Vehm, FORMS, and most likely Noddingturd Fan. All
his projects blends everything from Bollywood Funk and traditional
Middle Eastern sounds to Death Metal and Drum n Bass).
(Khost are a Birmingham, UK based industrial/doom duo, headed by Andy Swan (Iroha). Since
their inception in 2013, they have shared the stage with Godflesh,
Final, JK Flesh, Conan, Con-Dom, Moss, Anaal Nathrakh, My Silent Wake,

(Messer Chups is a Russian surf band formed in Hamburg in 1998 and originally consisted of Oleg Gitarkin
(bass) and Annette Schneider (synths). They had several member changes
and in 2003, they invited Lydia Kavina - the most famous
thereminvox-player and grand-niece of its inventor - to release Crazy
Price and Vamp Babes.
As of 2016, Messer Chups is based in St.
Petersburg, Russia and works as a trio consisted of Oleg "Gitaracula"
Fomchenkov (formerly known as Oleg Gitarkin) on guitar, Svetlana
"Zombierella" Nagaeva (formerly known as Zombi Girl) on bass and Dr.
Boris (Boris Israel Fernandez) on drums).
(Merzbow (メルツバウ, Merutsubau) is a Japanese noise project
started in 1979 by Masami Akita.
Merzbow is best known for a style of harsh, confrontational noise. Since 1980,
Akita has released over 400 recordings and has collaborated with various
artists.
The name Merzbow comes from the German dada artist Kurt Schwitters' artwork
Merzbau, in which Schwitters transformed the interior of his house using found
objects. The name was chosen to reflect Akita's dada influence and junk art
aesthetic. In addition to this, Akita has cited a wide range ofmusical
influences from progressive rock, heavy metal, free jazz, and early electronic
music to non-musical influences like dadaism, surrealism, and fetish culture.
Since the early 2000s, he has been inspired by animal rights and
environmentalism, and began to follow a vegan, straight edge lifestyle.
As well as being a prolific musician, he has been a writer and editor for
several books and magazines in Japan, and has written several books of his own.
He has written about a variety of subjects, mostly about music, modern art, and
underground culture. His more renowned works were on the topics of BDSM and
Japanese bondage. Other art forms Akita has been interested in include
painting, photography, filmmaking, and Butoh dance).
(Godflesh is an experimental and influential British band, formed in
Birmingham in 1988 by former Napalm Death and Head Of David member
Justin Broadrick and G. C. Green. They were one of the first bands that
combined metal riffs with drum machine rhythms and are highly regarded
as pioneers of industrial metal).
(The Telescopes is an experimental/shoegaze/noise band formed in
1986 in London, England, as a vehicle for music written, produced,
arranged and performed by Stephen Lawrie featuring like-minded
musicians).
(Olivier Bernet (Rancune) is a French musician and composer from Bordeaux, France. Member of Shunatao,
frontman in the Sentimentals and the Wild Bud as well as being the
author of various film scores including the acclaimed Persepolis,
Villemolle 81 and Poulet Aux Prunes).
(La Houle is a French Shoegaze/Dreampop band; based in between France (Angers) and UK
(London), La Houle (meaning "The Swell") is the

(Tokyo Shoegazer (東京酒吐座) was a Japanese shoegaze band originating
from Tokyo.The band was originally formed as one-off band for the
purpose of performing at Sasabuchi Hiroshi's birthday live party at
Shibuya O-WEST on October 12, 2010. The original line-up was Sasabuchi on drums, Watanabe Kiyomi (Kara, Acid Android) on guitar, Yuki (Presence of Soul) on vocals and guitar, Yoshi (Presence of Soul) on guitar and the K (101A) on bass. Their songs are mostly draws element from shoegaze, post-rock, noise rock and dream pop).
