(Daniele Gaudi (born 12 July 1963 in Bologna, Italy) is an Italian musician, composer, record producer and solo artist, with base in London since 1995. Dub, electronica, Reggae and worldbeat are the music genres that primarily surface in his 16 solo albums and his music productions since the beginning of his career in 1981.

To celebrate 100 years of the Theremin, super producer Gaudi and friends have created this album of Theremin infused dub; developed in 1920 by Russian physicist Léon Theremin, the Theremin is an electronic device which works with magnetic fields and consists of one metal antenna controlled without physical contact. Predominantly a fairly niche instrument, it has featured in several styles of music since its creation, from classical works to sci-fi movie soundtracks, pop and rock.

Gaudi was supported in this tribute by five of the world's top dub producers - Mad Professor, Adrian Sherwood, The Scientist, Dennis Bovell and Prince Fatty. All hugely respected individuals who have been representing the best of international dub production for the last 50 years, they have provided the riddims that underpin Gaudi's Theremin playing on this astonishing project).

(Kristin Hayter (Lingua Ignota) is an interdisciplinary artist, composer, and performer currently living in Rhode Island. She holds a BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an MFA in Digital Language Arts from Brown University. She will be pursuing a doctoral degree in the Fall of 2017.

A classically-trained vocalist, Kristin works with a variety of media and technology to create dense works harnessing the tech-mediated or acoustically extended voice, and is inspired by vernacular extreme forms such as black metal, power electronics, and harsh noise as well as sacred and liturgical music. Her solo project Lingua Ignota explores violence and gender in extreme music through a morally ambiguous, emotionally/physically intense performance practice that has been described as “crushing.”).
