Ouvrir des portails vers l'immensité du chaos quantique

(Igorrr (Monsieur Gautier Serre) is a French composer of electronic and acoustic music who mixes with astonishing ease genres as different as electronica, baroque music, death metal and trip hop among others. The result of that virtuous freakie musical mind is a a mangled maelstrom of classical coupled with modern synthesised and virtual instrumentation, resulting in a breakbeat-black metal-opera exercise in madness.

Serre is also part of the now disbanded side-projects Whourkr and Corpo-Mente. The Igorrr project became a full band with the addition of vocalists Laure Le Prunenec and Laurent Lunoir, drummer Sylvain Bouvier, guitarist Martyn Clément and bassist Erlend Caspersen. In 2021 both vocalists left the band and were replaced with JB Le Bail and Aphrodite Patoulidou, who were later replaced by Marthe Alexandre. In 2024 Rémi Serafino took the posision of the drummer.

Igorrr's sound combines breakbeats, heavy metal riffs, extreme tempo changes, and operatic singing coupled with screaming/growling, among other elements, to create an intense, disturbing, and undeniably distinct experience". The project's musical sources include black metal, death metal, industrial metal, progressive metal, classical music (especially Baroque music), Balkan music, breakcore and trip hop).

[Although it was a long five years of waiting, it was totally worth it, welcome back again to my favorite band. -CM-].

The beginning of insanity

(OLD (originally an acronym for Old Lady Drivers) was an american grindcore/avant garde/experimental metal band from Bergenfield, New Jersey. Formed in 1986 by Alan Dubin on vocals and James Plotkin on guitars and programming, starting as a brutal grindcore band, but late turning fastly into a new concept delved into further experimentation with techno and industrial music).

Throwing up in a black hole

Sounds travelling beneath the event horizon.

(Heptaedium’s musical madness could be placed somewhere between Djent forefathers Meshuggah, Breakcore-Hero Igorrr, Master Plumber Super Mario and French Baguettes. This band is an artificial child of a world in ruins, maintained in its artificiality by multinationals trying to conquer space. Shaped by technology, it has implanted genes of Strapping Young Lad, Vildhjarta or Master Boot Record; out of his infected incubator, the metal cold as death, the kid is a creature in the image of his time. An offshoot more human, with the body that jerks and the mouth that opens on a precipice. His song is destructured, icy, purely technical. One listens to it with the impression of hearing a machine scream, a creeping snake, an indefinite form moving forward by jerks).

This guy is, without a doubt, an artist worth watching for any fan of experimental (and practically unclassifiable) fusions of electronic music. In my opinion, certainly the most amazing music since old Zorn's and Bungle's times; time to say Bloody Hell!! Not sure? Read this excerpt of a review from themusiclobby.com: "Slap! What an album... I'm really out of words. Let me attempt. Track one - Valse En Décomposition - baroque organ chords with a low-fi trip-hop beat followed by a bee buzzing turning into glitchy classical piece. Track two - Oesophage De Tourterelle - light piano arpeggios, tremolos and octave scaling progressions turning into insane breakcore. Track three - Putrefiunt - solo monk voice over a flamenco guitar exploding into hardcore death metal cookie-monster mayhem. Or how about 40's gramophone swing laced with gabber? And then there are eight more tracks! I haven't heard such a collection of molded styles before, and it's working... it's working really well!

Just one word...Incredible!!! Support Him

La complexité des systèmes non-cartésiennes (Repost)

"Harder, faster, more guitars, more growls. Whourkr is Igorrr's metal alter-ego, and “4247 Snare Drums” is this act's third full length album. The product of a painstakingly long recording process by two musicians who are already seen as some of the hardest-working perfectionist in the scene, it is also a towering culmination of extreme metal run through equations, growls laid down mathematically, and guitars calculated for maximum efficiency. Polymorphous, violent, absurd but also extremely detailled, here comes the deadliest, ugliest and most precise sow-metal you could imagine"

Trying to find the harmonic convergent segments in the non-real defined polynomial function.
