Racconti di terrore dalla penisola
Nora Orlandi (1933), is an Italian singer, composer and pianist. She is also known for having founded and directed the vocal group I 4 + 4 Di Nora Orlandi, among others; also she is the author of some very strange psychedelic Giallo soundtracks as Il
Dolce Corpo di Deborah or Lo strano vizio della Signora Wardh, to name a few).
Alessandro Alessandroni (1925, Rome, Italy - 2017, Rome, Italy) was an Italian composer, arranger, vocalist,
whistler, conductor and multi-instrumentalist (guitar, sitar, keyboards,
mandolin, mandocello, accordion, banjo, flute, harmonica, jew's harp,
recorder, melodica and ocarina). He was the founder of the vocal
ensemble I Cantori Moderni di Alessandroni. Husband of Margaret Courtney-Clarke. Previously married to Giulia Alessandroni (Kema) until her death in 1984.
Also collaborated with his childhood friend Ennio Morricone on a number of soundtracks for Spaghetti Westerns.
Morricone's orchestration often calls for an unusual combination of
instruments, voices, and whistling. Alessandroni's twangy guitar riff is
central to the main theme for The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Alessandroni can be heard as the whistler on the soundtracks for Sergio Leone's films, including A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, Once Upon a Time in the West, and Pervirella. He also collaborated with Morricone in scoring the 1974 film Around the World with Peynet's Lovers.
He founded the octet vocal group I Cantori Moderni in
1961. The group, which included his wife, Giulia De Mutiis, performed
wordless vocals on several Italian movie soundtracks. Most notably, I Cantori Moderni are featured on the song "Mah Nà Mah Nà", written by Piero Umiliani for the 1968 Luigi Scattini mondo film Svezia, inferno e paradiso and popularized on The Muppets Show.

Welcome back to the never forgotten
(Sonic Youth is an American rock band based in New York City, formed in 1981. Founding members Thurston Moore (guitar, vocals), Kim Gordon (bass, vocals, guitar) and Lee Ranaldo (guitar, vocals) remained together for the entire history of the band, while Steve Shelley (drums) followed a series of short-term drummers in 1985, and rounded out the core line-up.
The band emerged from the experimental no wave
art and music scene in New York before evolving into a more
conventional rock band and becoming the most prominent of the American
noise rock groups. Sonic Youth have been praised for having "redefined
what rock guitar could do" using a wide variety of unorthodox guitar
tunings and preparing guitars with objects like drum sticks and
screwdrivers to alter the instruments' timbre. The band is considered to
be a pivotal influence on the alternative and indie rock movements).

Cousins (guitar), Tchad Cousins (bass), and Rogers DeCoud (drums). Their music takes the listener on an eclectic journey, blurring lines between
genres, impossible to pin down to one specific sound, while still having
a comforting cohesion throughout; catchy melodies collide with tape
fuzz and post-punk angst).

explcitly based around the use of assisted rhyhtm technologies and high

walls of sound built from guitars and synths alike, with sounds
manipulated and toyed with so intensely that the lines between analog
and digital instrumentation become unclear).

(Zdeněk Liška (1922 - 1983) was a Czech composer; he produced a large of number film scores across a prolific career that
started in the 1950s. He was revelatory in his contribution to the
development of electronic music. His music in this field is noticeable and dramatic, based on a unique
musical feeling achieved through using quite unusual instrumental
combinations and various electronic and electroacoustic techniques.
Liška worked notably with animator Jan Švankmajer, scoring several of his earlier short films: Punch and Judy (1966), Et Cetera (1966), Historia Naturae (Suita) (1967), The Flat (1968), Don Juan (1969), The Ossuary (1970), Jabberwocky (1971), and Leonardo's Diary (1972), and later The Castle of Otranto (1979). Liška's music for Švankmajer's Historia Naturae (Suita), The Flat, and The Ossuary was also featured in the 1984 short film by American animators the Brothers Quay entitled The Cabinet of Jan Švankmajer.
He also created a great number of iconic scores for important live-action films of the Czech New Wave including The Shop on Main Street, Marketa Lazarová, The Valley of the Bees, Fruit of Paradise, The Cremator and Ikarie XB-1).
