(Parzival is a Russian Martial/Industrial group based
in Denmark, founded in 1999, which grew out of a previous project called "Stiff Miners".
Heavily influenced by Kapital-era Laibach, the group creates an
bombastic neo-classical music with electronic percussion, plenty of
string and horn samples, and dramatic vocals mainly in German. The band is formed by Dmitry Bablevsky,
Julia Popova,
Peter Mesnickow and Tim Ellegaard.
This album is the first part of an album trilogy with the overall title “Tradition And
Discipline” continuing with the albums “Grimoire” and “Teurgia”, which
will follow in the coming years. Musically the three albums will sound
like Parzival, but each one with their own character that reflects
Parzival’s diverse musical work throughout the years).
