(Dead Skeletons came into being in 2008 as an accompaniment to
an installation for a show at the Reykjavik art museum by artist Jón
Sæmundur (Dead). Looking for a spiritual battle hymn for the
installation in the show, Jón Sæmundur began recording with Henrik
Björnsson (Singapore Sling) and later with Ryan Carlson and Aislinn Van
Kriedt (Sunsplit, A4); Dead Skeletons was created as an art band, not as a typical touring
band. Despite of that the band went on several tours mostly in Europe
and USA).
