Underwater hallucinations
Feeling the weight of water.
(Founded in 1980, The Legendary Pink Dots exist in the fields of
experimental and psychedelic music. The band is fronted by Edward
Ka-Spel, who doubles as singer and chief lyric writer. Phil Knight (The
Silverman),
Erik Drost, and Raymond Steeg make up the current lineup of the band.
The sound is often a conglomerate of electronics, saxophones, guitars,
drums, and Ka-Spel's distinctive voice and lyrical invention. Side
projects of the band include The Tear Garden (with Cevin Key from Skinny
Puppy), and Mimir (with Christoph and Andreas Heemann), plus solo
ventures).

(Air Formation are an English indie/postrock/shoegaze band from Crawley,
UK, that debuted with their first 7" in the summer of 1998 under the name B.E.A.B. Approved.
In early 2000 they were forced to change their name, they chose Air
Formation. They split in April 2011 before reforming in 2014).

(Amp is an English ambient/space/drone group based around the core
members Richard Walker and Karine Charff. Walker was a member of a band
in Bristol called The Secret Garden that incubated a number of groups
including Flying Saucer Attack and Third Eye Foundation. In 1992 he left
the band; singles from Amp began to come out on a number of small
English labels and a debut album called Sirènes was released in 1996 on
the Wurlitzer Jukebox label in the UK and a short-lived American label
called Petrol).

A rocky passage to a forgotten language temple
Drums resounds from the ancient watchtower.
(Lisa Gerrard is an Australian musician, singer and composer who rose to prominence as part of the music group Dead Can Dance with music partner Brendan Perry. In addition to singing, she is an instrumentalist for much of her work, most prolifically using the yangqin (a Chinese hammered dulcimer).
David Kuckhermann was born in Muenster, Germany in 1979. He played different instruments in various formations before he discovered the world of hand- and fingerdrumming. Soon he became a regular teacher in the percussion school "rhythmuswelt" in Muenster. Later he decided to move to the netherlands to intensify his studies and to become a student in the worldmusic department of the rotterdam conservatory
In 2001 David got into live looping, started to work with impro-dance classes in the rotterdam danceacademy and to compose music for dance performances. He became a member of the "Al Farabi" Ensemble, which was founded by ethnomusicologist Wouter Swets in 1969. In 2002 he founded the Duo "ZwischenRaum" with sax- and keys-player Holger Raddatz. Since 2003, David lives in Berlin and teaches and performs with the ensemble "EST" for old music.

(Jesu is a side project from Godflesh's frontman Justin K. Broadrick; the name
comes from the final song on the final Godflesh record, a fitting title
for Justin's next foray into rock music. While virtually every side
project was electronic-based, Jesu is guitar-based. The indie rock band Sun Kil Moon was formed in 2002 by former Red House Painters frontman Mark Kozelek. SKM is comprised of longtime Painters' drummer Anthony Koutsos, drummer Tim Mooney (of American Music Club fame), and bassist Geoff Stanfield (of Black Lab), as well as a string trio from the San Francisco Conservatory).

(Asva is an American experimental doom/sludge/drone metal band,
originally formed by Stuart Dahlquist and B.R.A.D. in 2003. The name of
the project is derived from a Sanskrit word aśva,
meaning a "horse". Asva never fits traditional definitions of such
genres as doom, sludge or drone, always presenting uncommon and
unconventional interpretations, even though this project had a
significant influence on the scene. But the latest album confirms the
final departure from a realm of purely metal-related genres, being much
more melodic and uplifted).

Six epitomes to explain the unknown.
(Blut Aus Nord was originally formed as Vlad in France in 1993 as a solo
project lead by Vindsval. After two demos, In The Mist in 1993 and
Yggdrasil in 1994, the name was changed to Blut Aus Nord. The band was
signed to Impure Creations Records and released the full-length album
Ultima Thulée, which introduced long-time member W.D. Feld on drums and
keyboards and featured Ogat on bass. This was followed in 1996 by
Memoria Vetusta I «Fathers Of The Icy Age», which included Ira Aeterna
on bass (as a session musician).
In 2001 The Mystical Beast Of Rebellion was released, with Nahaim playing as session bassist. The Work Which Transforms God came out in 2003; this was the first appearance of GhÖst as the now-permanent bassist, thus completing the line-up that the band still has to this date. The album also featured session member Taysiah on vocals. The 10" split with Reverence (... Decorporation ...) followed in 2004, and the band has been releasing a steady stream of albums, and a few EPs, since.
The band's current line-up is: Vindsval (vocals, guitar), W.d.Feld (drums, keyboards), Thorns (drums) and GhÖst (bass).

(The Dagons is an USA L.A. based band, who mix fuzzy guitars, pounding
drums & haunting
vocals with dreamy lyrics referencing fairy tales & mythology to
create their distinctive sound. They are a two-piece band from Los
Angeles, made up of Karie Jacobson (guitar, vocals) and Drew Kowalski
(drum set and sitar). The Dagons have “a unique, otherworldly feel which
adds a sprawling, surreal quality to the genre of indie rock” and for
their distinctive juxtapositions of contrasting elements, such
as the short, stripped-down song forms of punk with dark, otherworldly
psychedelia, or the contrast of fuzzy guitars and pounding drums with
minor key melodies and dreamy vocals. Also unusual is the group’s use of
distorted electrified sitar, played by The Dagons drummer and producer
Drew Kowalski).

at the time Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
Laibach is the German name for Slovenia's capital city Ljubljana;
initially one of the founders of Martial Industrial music, they
changed their musical direction to a more Rock-, Pop- and
Techno-/Dance-inspired crossover style in later years).

(Belong is an American experimental music duo composed of Turk Dietrich
and Michael Jones. The group formed in New Orleans in 2002. The duo's
sound blends ambient styles, with a focus on guitar textures. Reviews
have made comparisons to current electronica artists like Fennesz and
Tim Hecker, as well as the early 1990s shoegazing sound attributed to
bands such as My Bloody Valentine and The Jesus and Mary Chain. Guitars
and synthesizers are run through various effects to produce the band's
sound).

Unfortunately, lead singer Trish Keenan died of pneumonia on 14 January 2011 at the age of 42).

Homage to a victim of the oligarchy
Ramona Aurelia Parra Alarcón (May 28, 1926 - January 28, 1946) was a young Chilean woman, militant of the Communist Party. She died wounde by a bullet-head injury during a protest march in Santiago in 1946, known as the "Massacre of Plaza Bulnes."
In the 60's the Ramona Parra Brigades of muralist art emerged in their tribute. In 1970, Víctor Jara dedicates a song entitled BRP, with music by Celso Garrido and lyrics by Víctor Jara himself.
